In general, receipt of a Security Deposit
of $300 - $1000 per one to two week reservations is required within
10 days to confirm your reservation. The security deposit is separate
from the rent and will be refunded by mail approximately 30 - 45
days following completion of your stay. The specified cleaning fee
will be deducted from the Security Deposit, along with charges for
missing items, excessive cleaning/laundry, or damage that is beyond
normal wear and tear. Cancellations of less than 60 days written
notice will result in loss of the entire rent and excise tax unless
we are able to re-rent the property. If less than 90 days written
notice is received, the entire Security Deposit is forfeited. Upon
90 days written notice we will refund the Security Deposit minus
a $50 administration fee.
For Extended Stay Reservations, of 3 weeks
and longer, a larger Security Deposit will be required. This varies
by property and length of stay and may be assessed as a % of the
rental fee, a portion of which may be credited toward the rental
fee at the time that it becomes due.
In some cases, notably most of our Sealodge
condos, the owners do not require a security deposit. Your deposit
is the first night's rent. This deposit will hold your reservation
until final payment is due. Final payment is required 30 days prior
to check-in. Cancellations received 31 days or more prior to arrival
will result in a refund of the deposit minus a $25 administration
fee. Any additional monies will be refunded in full. Cancellations
received 30 days or less prior to scheduled arrival will result
in forfeiture of room rate and tax unless the property is re-rented.
Special cancellation policies and minimum
night stays apply to bookings for the Christmas/New Years time period.

A tax of 11.42% is added to the total base
rent.
No charge will be placed on your credit card
until we obtain the booking confirmation. We normally respond to
you with a confirmation number within one day, often within hours.
For bookings made less than 35 days prior to arrival, full payment
is placed on your credit card plus a 3% service charge; at the time
we confirm the booking.
Upon receipt of full payment, you will receive
a rental receipt and Directions Letter. This will provide you with
driving directions from Lihue Airport to your property, along with
the code to the lock box located at the front door of the home.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Checkout time is 10:00 a.m.
All properties are strictly non-smoking. No
pets are allowed. The properties are privately owned. Properties
are rented with the owner's furnishings.
